Both my boys (aged 4 and 6) went from non-swimmer to 2 lengths in a number of weeks. We have done several of the half term crash courses. I've tried other swim schools, but MXT are simply better. The kids learn faster and the one to one attention gives them more confidence and skills (and less standing still). It is expensive but the results are much quicker so ultimately it is better value for money than other swim schools.

Mxt school you have been brilliant, we cannot recommend you enough for William and Elsie. For Elsie not being able to swim to now in only two weeks being able to swim 50m is just incredible. When we moved from London, we wanted to find a swim school that would be able to offer one-to-one tuition for our autistic son to continue his lessons (he had earned his 100m badge and was keen to continue). We had various recommendations for MXT and after a chat with Mario, we felt confident that we were making the right choice. In the 6 months he has been swimming here, our son has come on so well! His confidence in the water has increased, he is learning all the strokes correctly and even self-correcting himself in the pool during lessons. We have brought him to two intensive courses and he has now achieved his 400m badge just before his 7th birthday! Mario, Chris and the MXT team are amazing! They have worked so hard with our son to bring out his skills and to teach him new things. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for swimming lessons as no matter what level your child is at or if they have any areas they need additional help, MXT will find the best way to suit them.

I would highly recommend MXT. My eldest son had been to baby swim sessions at another school and at 2 suddenly became fearful and anxious in the water. We stopped the lessons as they were becoming too stressful for all concerned. Then I stumbled upon an advert for MXT and decided to give it a try. With kind and supportive one to one coaching my son found his love of the water. He is now a beautiful swimmer and he and his brother love every minute in the pool. I am delighted and grateful to Mario and his wonderful team!

My 3 children (aged 3, 5 and 9) have just finished the intensive summer swim course run by MXT and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves! It was great to see them working in such a small group (2 children to 1 teacher) and improving every day, resulting in them all receiving a certificate and badge at the end of the week. The pool and changing area was very clean and the staff friendly and supportive. Many thanks MXT!

We started our four children at MXT, then aged 9, 7, 6 and 3 years old in August 2013. I recall booking the lessons in a rush and was rather surprised that Mario could fit them all in at the same time, having been used to waiting endless hours entertaining three children whilst one swam and then rotating them through the evening swimming sessions which was highly boring, prolonged, and occasionally stressful. My nine year old (Adam) could swim a few lengths when he started at MXT but was rather ungainly in the crawl and struggled with breast stroke and back stroke. Adam now swims with a beautiful style and cuts a smooth fast figure through the water in all strokes including butterfly and dolphin. Adam has enjoyed his one to one lessons and his teacher (Jane) has succeeded in improving his swimming beyond my expectations and has been successful in building a great rapport with him. My seven year old could just about manage a width of the pool when we started at MXT and hated putting his ears in the water. We used to call him our little stone - he sank! Daniel now swims with confidence and ease and is learning to improve his stamina under the careful "no nonsense" approach of his excellent teacher. My six year old Anna loves to talk - a downfall when every minute counts in a half hour swimming lesson! Mario has successfully drawn Anna out of the talking and into the swimming, making lessons fun but hard work. Anna has improved immensely under Mario's experienced lesson planning and implementation. My three year old Michael could not swim when he started at MXT. He is now the proud owner of his 15 meter swimming badge and adores his teacher who has seemingly endless patience and good humour. Michael adores his lessons with his wonderful teacher - Tim. As you can tell, I am absolutely thrilled with the progress all my children have made through MXT teachers, and it is most enjoyable to sit pool side for a half hour and watch them being taught - "Poetry in Motion" Thanks to this excellent swimming school, I wouldn't hesitate to book.
